Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of Mawgood. Mawgood is a product of Aurano Technology (OPC), a company registered in Egypt ("Aurano", "we"). By creating an account or using Mawgood, you agree to these terms for yourself and for the business you represent.

The service

Mawgood lets a business create agents (AI assistants) that reply to its customers on WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger, take orders, bookings and leads, send payment links and hand conversations to the business's team. The service keeps improving, and we may change, add or remove features.

Your account and team

  • You must have the legal authority to bind the business to these terms and give accurate information.
  • The workspace owner is responsible for their team members, their roles and everything done from their accounts.
  • Keep your password secret and tell us right away if you think someone got into your account.

The business's responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the information and instructions you give the agent, and for the prices, offers, products and services you provide to your customers.
  • You must follow Meta's policies (the WhatsApp Business Policy and the Commerce and Platform policies) and not send spam or messages without the customer's consent.
  • You must have a lawful basis to contact your customers and process their data, and tell them an AI assistant replies to them where the law requires it.
  • Don't use Mawgood for anything illegal, misleading or harmful, or try to break into or disrupt the service.

AI replies

The agent writes its replies with AI models, and replies can be wrong or incomplete. The agent is designed not to make things up and to hand over to the team when it doesn't know, but you are responsible for reviewing its settings, its knowledge and the conversations. To the extent the law allows, Aurano is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of a wrong reply.

Prices and payment

  • Subscription: monthly in Egyptian pounds, charged to the saved card through Paymob at the start of each month.
  • Extra replies: AI replies beyond the plan are billed at month end based on usage, and you can set a spending limit.
  • WhatsApp credits: WhatsApp messages Meta charges for (beyond the free messages) are deducted from prepaid credits, and each credit package is valid for a set period. When credits run out, WhatsApp messages aren't sent until you top up; Instagram and Messenger keep working.
  • Late payment: if a charge fails we retry several times; after the last attempt the agents stop replying until the invoice is paid.
  • Prices may change; existing subscribers move to new prices at their first renewal after the change date.

Third-party services

Mawgood relies on other services such as Meta, Paymob, Google and Shopify. Your use of them is subject to their terms, and Aurano is not responsible for their outages or decisions (such as rejecting a template or restricting a number).

Data and privacy

Your data and your customers' data are yours. We process it to provide the service, as the privacy policy explains. For your customers' data, Aurano processes it on your behalf and instructions. [Lawyer: data processing agreement.]

Intellectual property

Mawgood, its software, design and brand belong to Aurano. You keep your rights in the content you upload and give us a licence to use it only to run the service.

Suspension and termination

  • You can close your account at any time. You can download a copy of your data first in Settings › Data & privacy.
  • We may suspend or close an account for a breach of these terms, non-payment, or use that puts the service or others at risk, and we will tell you when we can.
  • After termination we delete data as the privacy policy describes.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Aurano is not liable for indirect damages or lost profits or data, and its total liability does not exceed [the amount you paid in the last 12 months]. [Lawyer: final wording.]

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and [the courts of Cairo] have jurisdiction over any dispute. [Lawyer: arbitration, and consumers in the UK.]

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a meaningful way, we will email workspace owners in good time before the change applies. Continuing to use Mawgood after the change means you accept it.
